HOW TO BE
According to the Christian Bible, becoming "Born Again" is a spiritual transformation or rebirth from above granted by God. It means receiving eternal life, becoming a new creatiuon, and entering God's family throuygh faith in Jesus Christ.
STEPS TO SPIRITUAL REBIRTH, TO BE BORN AGAIN..
Admit you are a sinner and need forgiveness. You need to recogniuse that everyone makes mistakes and falls short of God's standard, a concept known as sin.
Believe in Jesus: Trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and rose from the dead.
Repent of sin: Turn away from your old ways and choose to follow God's will.
Receive Christ: Express your faith through a personal prayer, asking Jesus to forgive your sins and take control of the destiny of your life.
LIVING THE NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
Read Your Bible: Spend time daily learning God's Word to grow in your understanding.
Pray Consistently: Talk with God regularly to build your relationship with Him.
Find a good church that is alive with the Spirit of God flowing! Connect with other believers in a local, bible teaching church for support and fellowship.
Get Baptised in the Waters of Repentance - Follow Christ's example through water baptism as an outward sign of your inner commitment.
Ask Jesus to spiritually baptise you in the Holy Spirit and Fire - Jesus is the true baptiser in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other languages, and the infilling of God's holy power for Christian service to your spheres of influence.
A PRAYER TO BE BORN AGAIN:
Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness.
I beleve that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for my sinm, and that He rose again from the dead.
Right now, I turn away from my old life and I invite Jesus to come into my heart.

The Bible presents the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a vital gift from God. It gives believers supernatural power to share the message of Jesus, act as bold witnesses, and serves effectively in their daily spiritual lives.
THE PROMISE AND THE PROPHESY
Matthew 3:11 - John the Baptist says Jesus will baptise people with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Joel 2:28-29 - God promises to pour out His Spirit on all people in the last days.
Acts 1:4-5 - Jesus tells His followers to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Holy Spirit.
POWER FOR WITNESSING AND SERVICE
Acts 2:38-39: Peter states that the gift of the Holy Spirit is for all who turn to God.
Luke 11:13 - Jesus explains that God gladly gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.
CHRISTIAN BAPTISM
The next major baptism after John's baptism is Christian baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus, which involves receiving the Holy Spirit. This is shown in the New Testament when the Apostle Paul baptised about twelve disciples in Ephesus who had previously only known John's baptism.
Key Differences
John's Baptism: A baptism of water and repentance to prepare people for Jesus. It did not include the full gospel of Christ's death and resurrection or the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Christian Baptism: Prayed for in the name of Jesus. It unites believers with the risen Christ and brings the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Why the Change Happened
John the Baptist himself said that Jesus would baptise people with the Holy Spirit and fire, which was greater than John's water baptism.
In Acts 19:1-7, Paul explains that John's baptism pointed forward to Jesus. Once Jesus came, died, and rose, believers needed to be baptised into the name of Jesus to fully enter the New Covenant.

REPENTANCE AND RENEWAL - HOW YOU CAN CARRY GOD'S PRESENCE DAILY.
Understanding the power of turning toward Jesus and the infusion of the Holy Spirit for a victorious life.
This is a strategy of how a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ can carry the power and presence of God, the Holy Spirit and the anointing wherever they walk in life using scriptural references as a guide and to maintain the fullness of the Holy Spirit in one’s life.
1. Abide Continually in Christ (Union Before Power)
Power flows from relationship—not performance.
Key Scriptures:
John 15:4–5: 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Colossians 2:6–7 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Strategy:
Begin each day acknowledging Christ within you.
Practice moment-by-moment awareness: “Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Stay connected, not just during “spiritual moments,” but in all activity.

2. Be Filled Continuously with the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is not a one-time experience, but a continual filling.

Ephesians 5:18 — “Be filled with the Spirit” (continuous tense). 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Luke 11:13 — The Father gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask. 13 If ye then, being evil (sinful) know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Titus 3:5-6 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Ephesians 5:26 - That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Strategy:
Ask daily: “Holy Spirit, fill me afresh.”
Yield your thoughts, words, and actions to Him.
Pray in the Spirit regularly (Jude 1:20,21) 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
The Love of God:
Romans 5:5
5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Hebrews 4:2 - For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Strategy:
Immediately act on what God reveals.
Build a lifestyle of quick obedience.

Prayer is where presence is cultivated and power is released.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Develop rhythms, not necessarily routines - morning, throughout the day, and evening.
Practice conversational prayer (not just formal or ‘religious’ prayer)
Mix worship, thanksgiving, intercession, and listening.

5. Guard Holiness and Purity
The Holy Spirit dwells in a yielded and clean vessel.

Remove compromise quickly through repentance.
Guard what you watch, listen to, and entertain.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Declare Scripture over your life daily.

The Spirit leads, prompts, and speaks—learn to respond.

Romans 8:14 — “As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The presence of God increases as it flows through you.

Matthew 10:8 — 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Matthew 12:28-29 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.
Strategy:
Share Christ boldly and naturally, in the Spirit, supernaturally.
Pray for others regularly. (May I pray for you?)
Expect God to move through you. (Rely on Christ In You, The Hope of Glory).
👉 You carry presence not just for yourself, but for others.

10. Maintain Thanksgiving and Joy
Joy sustains spiritual strength and awareness of God.

Joy:
Nehemiah 8:10 — “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” 10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for thisday is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Philippians 4:4: Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
Psalm 16:11: You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Habakkuk 3:17-18: ..yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Psalm 100:4 – Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

Strategy:
Give thanks in all circumstances.
Rejoice intentionally, even in difficulty.
Worship often—this magnifies God’s presence.

Understanding the power of turning toward Jesus and the infusion of the Holy Spirit for a victorious life.
WHAT IS CORPORATE PRAYER?
Corporate prayer is the united agreement of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to glorify God the Father and release His Kingdom purposes on earth. When believers gather in humility, faith, repentance, worship, and obedience, God strengthens His Church, restores relationships, defeats spiritual opposition, and demonstrates His power.
THE POWER OF CORPORATE PRAYER IN UNITY
"Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Ephesians 4:3 (KJV)
Corporate prayer has always been central to God's purposes throughout Scripture. From the Upper Room (Acts 1–2) to the united prayers of the early Church (Acts 4), God responds powerfully when His people seek Him together with one heart and one purpose. The Apostle Paul, especially in the book of Ephesians, reveals that believers are one Body in Christ, strengthened by one Spirit, serving one Lord, worshipping one Father, and walking together in unity.
Corporate prayer is far more than gathering people into one room. It is a spiritual alignment with the will of God through Jesus Christ, established by His precious blood and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Through united prayer, God restores relationships, strengthens His Church, advances His Kingdom, and reveals His glory.
1. Corporate Prayer Strengthens Our Relationship with God the Father Through Jesus Christ.
The foundation of every corporate prayer gathering is a living relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ.
Paul begins Ephesians by revealing the believer's spiritual identity and heavenly position in Christ. Every blessing flows through Christ and leads believers into intimate fellowship with the Father.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." (Ephesians 1:3)
Corporate prayer continually reminds believers that they are adopted into God's family.
"Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself." (Ephesians 1:5)
Jesus Himself taught:
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)
When believers gather in unity:

Faith is strengthened.

Love is multiplied.

Hope is renewed.

The Father's presence becomes evident.

Christ is exalted above every circumstance.
Paul prays:
"That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith... rooted and grounded in love." (Ephesians 3:17)
Corporate prayer therefore develops mature disciples whose relationship with the Father becomes deeper and stronger through Jesus Christ.
2. Corporate Prayer Releases the Cleansing and Victorious Power of the Blood of Jesus.
Every prayer gathering begins at the Cross.
The blood of Jesus reconciles sinners to God and removes every dividing wall between believers.
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins." (Ephesians 1:7)
Paul writes:
"For he is our peace... having broken down the middle wall of partition between us." (Ephesians 2:14)
The blood of Christ brings:

Forgiveness

Reconciliation

Healing of relationships

Unity within the Church

Confidence before God

Hebrews declares:
"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith." (Hebrews 10:22)
During corporate prayer:

Hearts repent.

Offences are forgiven.

Bitterness is replaced with grace.

Unity is restored.

The blood of Jesus also defeats Satan.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb..." (Revelation 12:11)
United believers standing beneath the Cross become spiritually strong because their confidence rests entirely in Christ's finished work.
3. Corporate Prayer Releases the Restoring and Transforming Power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Divine Leader of every genuine prayer meeting.
Paul repeatedly teaches that believers are indwelt, sealed, strengthened and empowered by the Spirit.
"Be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man." (Ephesians 3:16)
"Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30)
Corporate prayer allows the Holy Spirit to:

Restore broken lives.

Heal emotional wounds.

Renew the mind.

Convict of sin.

Produce holiness.

Impart spiritual gifts.

Build Christlike character.
Paul urges believers:
"Be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18)

Romans 8:26 reminds us:
"The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities..."
The Holy Spirit transforms ordinary gatherings into encounters with the living God.
4. Corporate Prayer Builds Unity, Love and Spiritual Maturity in the Body of Christ
One of the greatest themes of Ephesians is unity.
Paul declares:
"There is one body, and one Spirit... One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all." (Ephesians 4:4–6)
Corporate prayer dismantles division and strengthens Christian fellowship.
Prayer teaches believers to:

Forgive quickly.

Love sacrificially.

Serve humbly.

Bear one another's burdens.

Encourage one another daily.
Paul commands:
"Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:3)
When churches pray together:

Denominations become less important.

Jesus becomes central.

Relationships are restored.

The Church reflects Christ.

Communities witness genuine love.
Jesus prayed:
"That they all may be one." (John 17:21)
Unity in prayer becomes a testimony that Christ truly lives within His people.
5. Corporate Prayer Equips the Church for Spiritual Warfare and Kingdom Advancement.
The book of Ephesians concludes with one of Scripture's greatest teachings on spiritual warfare.
Believers are instructed:
"Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might." (Ephesians 6:10)
After describing the whole armour of God, Paul finishes with corporate prayer.
"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit." (Ephesians 6:18)
United prayer releases:

The early Church demonstrated this truth.
Acts 4 records that after believers prayed together:

Corporate prayer moves the Church from fear to faith, from weakness to power, and from maintenance to mission.
Conclusion
Corporate prayer is one of God's greatest gifts to His Church. It unites believers beneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ, draws them into deeper fellowship with God the Father, applies the cleansing and victorious power of the blood of Jesus, and releases the restoring, transforming, and dynamic ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The message of Ephesians calls every believer to stand together as one Body, clothed in the armour of God, walking in love, maintaining the unity of the Spirit, and praying continually until Christ is glorified in His Church.
As believers gather in faith, humility, repentance, worship, and obedience, God strengthens His people, restores broken relationships, equips His Church for spiritual warfare, advances His Kingdom, and prepares the Bride of Christ for His glorious return.
